Description: Participants of the VHA/NCI Big Data Scientist Training Enhancement Program (BD-STEP) convene biannually to share their research progress, offer feedback and suggestions on methods and data, and develop collaborations. The June 2019 meeting is open to NIH and will feature talks on data resources and data science opportunities from NCI and other federal government entities, research updates from the diverse projects of the BD-STEP fellows, and networking opportunities with VHA health data representatives and other members of the BD-STEP network.
